Branch Security Dashboard

The Branch Dashboard provides a physical network view of information.

Example of a Branch Security Dashboard

The displayed widgets from top-to-bottom and left-to-right are:

Branch Graph

An interactive network graph showing the most significant interactions (edges) and entities (nodes) in the monitored network. The most significant interactions are derived using a proprietary algorithm we call MOREAL GraphIQ, which scores, ranks and finally selects the most interesting network activities and the involved network entities. For more information regarding the displayed information, the aesthetics and available interactions refer to the network graph documentation.

Line-charts

  • Total threats: This line-chart displays the number of threats throughout the selected window (1 hour/day/week) as reported by security devices.
  • Threats over total connections: This line-chart displays the ratio of the number of threats over the number of total connections throughout the selected window (1 hour/day/week) as reported by network and security devices.
  • Failed over total logins: This line-chart displays the ratio of the number of failed login attempts over the number of total attempts throughout the selected window (1 hour/day/week) as reported by monitored devices.
  • Total spam : This line-chart displays the number of spam email throughout the selected window (1 hour/day/week) as reported by selected devices.
  • Access control blocks : This line-chart displays the number of denied application-level events as reported in access-control logs throughout the selected window (1 hour/day/week).
  • Total firewall blocks: This line-chart displays the number of firewall blocks throughout the selected window (1 hour/day/week) as reported by monitored firewalls.
  • Incoming over total traffic: This line-chart displays the ratio of the incoming over total traffic throughout the selected window (1 hour/day/week).
  • Incoming over total threats: This line-chart displays the ratio of the threats in incoming connections over the total number of threats throughout the selected window (1 hour/day/week), as reported by security devices.

Top-N Lists

  • Top countries (traffic): This list displays the top countries communicating with the monitored networks along with the number of connections and the difference from previous measurements expressed as a percentage.
  • Top ports with threats: This list displays the top network ports appearing in threat events along with the number of events and the difference from previous measurements expressed as a percentage.
  • Top threat IDs: This list displays the top unique Threat IDs with multiple occurrences in monitored networks along with the number of occurrences and the difference from previous measurements expressed as a percentage.
  • Top spam addresses: This list displays the top unique email addresses with multiple spam messages along with the number of messages and the difference from previous measurements expressed as a percentage.
